Silvia Laniado (1984-?) e Martina Soragna (1981-?) started the theatre company “Le due e un quarto” in 2007 in Turin.
Starting from their studies in Physical Theatre, they compare the puppet body, the actress body and their respective movements. In this way, they create a personal style, in which the self-mockery offers comics suggestions for reflections.
The company performed in several theatres, variety shows, puppetry and street theatre festivals in Italy and abroad.
In 2009, the company won the “Premio Benedetto Ravasio” because “In a funny meta - theatrical way, they mix the comedy with the puppets. [...] a way to refresh and to give a new meaning to a popular show, not just for children”.
